ReleaseNotes

last edited 4 years ago by superuser

This page is a hub linking all of our release notes and errata information for our OS Images. Each OS Image prepared by Diginode for use with our servers includes a release note prepared by us that contains important information. Before you install a particular OS Image, please check the release notes for that image first as it will save you much time and fustration later on. If you encounter a problem or unexpected behavior, you should also check the release note for the OS you are using before pursuing futher support.

There are several types of OS images -

  • Clean. Minimal install of the OS. Use the included tools to automatically install the needed packages.
  • Default. Default install for OSes? which do not include automatic package management or without a minimal option.
  • Server. Server install including popular daemons such as Apache, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sendmail and Postfix, etc.

And each OS image is made for a specific size. Currently the default size for images is 10 Gigabytes. We release new images very often, so you may want to check these pages now and then look for updated information.
